Bluegrass festival
The Gloucester Moose Family Center, 6565 Moose Drive, Gloucester, will present the 12th annual Bluegrass Festival from noon-9 p.m. Saturday, March 28. The roster includes County Seat, 1 and 5 p.m.; Solid Rock, 2 and 6 p.m.; Rappahannock Crossing, 3 and 7 p.m.; and Code Blue, 4 and 8 p.m.
Admission is $25 by advance ticket at the Lodge, or 366-7635. Proceeds benefit the VCU Massey Cancer Research and The Children’s Cancer Hospital of Richmond at VCU.
Annual meeting
The Northumberland Association for Progressive Stewardship (NAPS) will conduct its annual meeting from 1-3 p.m. Sunday, March 29, at the Northern Neck Heritage Arts Center, 73 Monument Place, Heathsville.
Discussion topics will include forever chemicals; the recent raw sewage spill into the Potomac River and C&O Canal near Washington, D.C.; Ghost Pot Program. NAPS will hold a brief business meeting during an ice cream social following the discussion.
Parisian tea
The Woman’s Club of White Stone, 560 Chesapeake Drive, White Stone, will host April in Paris, a spring luncheon and tea, from noon-3 p.m. Thursday, April 2. Doors will open at 11:30 a.m.
The event will feature a Parisian lunch with a dessert table and hot tea, a fashion accessory show, raffles, door prizes and bake sale. The fee is $40. For reservations, contact Donna Sneed at d_sneed1@live.com.
History talk
Author and military historian, Dr. Patrick H. Hannum, will speak on “The Virginia Campaign of 1775: Great Bridge & Removing Dunmore” at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 2, at Mathews Memorial Library, 251 Main Street, Mathews.
The talk is sponsored by Mathews County VA250. Refreshments will be served.
Widows support
A Space for Healing, Widows Support Group will meet from 1-4 p.m. on second Fridays at Northumberland Public Library, 7204 Northumberland Highway, Heathsville.
Come for the support and camaraderie of others who may have walked the path, enjoy fellowship, games, light snacks and beverages.
Photo Group
The Rappahannock Art League Photo Group seeks new members of all levels who wish to improve their skills. The Photo Group meets at 10 a.m. on third Mondays at the Lancaster Community Library, 16 Town Centre Drive, Kilmarnock.

Poetry Collective
The LCL Poetry Collective, an intermediate-level poetry group, meets on Third Wednesdays through May at the Lancaster Community Library, 16 Town Centre Drive, Kilmarnock. The group will next meet at 6 p.m. April 15.
Benefit gala
The annual Diamonds & Denim gala and auction will be held April 25 at Healthy Harvest Food Bank, 55 Commerce Drive, Warsaw. Doors will open at 5 p.m.
