IRVINGTON—Gerald Edward Timberlake Sr. passed away peacefully at his home on March 19, 2026.
He was born on June 15, 1943. He grew up in Danville and Richmond but the Northern Neck was his home for more than 50 years.
He is survived by his children, David Timberlake, Jerry (Trinia) Timberlake, Cindy Ruthven (Legh), Chris (Shannon) Timberlake and Brent (Elizabeth) Timberlake; six grandchildren, Colby (Karah) Ruthven, Jarett (Taylar) Timberlake, Chris Timberlake Jr., Caleb Timberlake, Sam Timberlake and Sarah Grace Timberlake; two step-grandchildren, Maddie Wood and John Wood; five great-grandchildren, Ben Ruthven, Gabe Ruthven, Lilah Ruthven, Heidi Ruthven and Weslynn Timberlake.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Eva Ann Timberlake; brother, Jimmy Timberlake; and his parents, Brent and Judith Timberlake.
Services will be private.
