Deacon Doggett reaches 40-year milestone at QEBC

Darryl S. Doggett Sr. of Ottoman has served as a deacon at Queen Esther Baptist Church (QEBC) in Mollusk for over 40 years.

Doggett was asked to join the QEBC Deacon Board in 1985 by his pastor, Rev Dr. Silas B. Holmes. After giving much thought and consideration, Darryl became a “Walking Deacon” and continued his walk for an entire year. After which in March 1986, he was ordained by….
