Refuge Friends to hold native plant sale May 16

The Rappannock Wildlife Refuge Friends will conduct a native plant sale from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. May 16 at the pavilion at the Hutchinson Unit, 19180 Tidewater Trail, Tappahannock.

Prices will vary. Funds raised will support the Rappahannock River Valley National Wildlife Refuge educational programs, events and mission, reported Annette Bareford.

Plant donations will be accepted through May 14, said Bareford. Deliver potted plants to the front porch of the lodge at the Cat Point Creek….
