Aeronautical group to hold ‘Show & Tell’

The Northern Neck-Middle Peninsula Chapter of the Virginia Aeronautical Historical Society (VAHS) will hold its monthly luncheon at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, January 18, at the Pilot House Restaurant, 2737 Greys Point Road, Topping.

The chapter will host a “Show & Tell” session, reported liaison George A. Galo. Members will share their personal history and interests in aviation.

Everyone is invited to bring a favorite aeronautical artifact, memorabilia or history book to show, and explain its significant aspects in a few words, said Galo. Books should relate to aviators/aviation history. Artifacts/memorabilia should likewise relate to aviation/aviators/aeronautical history. Certificates and awards for special aeronautical achievements are also welcome.

The program is intended to tap the wealth of aeronautical knowledge and experience among the attendees, “our hidden treasure,”  he said.  All are welcome to attend the fun and informative aeronautical program, and bring a favorite item to show and tell.
