PLAINFIELD, N.J.—Albert “Al” Lee Beale, 78, of Plainfield, N.J., passed away on August 24 after a valiant battle with prostate and lung cancer.
Albert was born on January 9, 1941, to Willard and Margaret Beale in Weems.
Al attended the Lancaster Virginia Public School system. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and Bingo. Al was predeceased by his parents; three brothers Thomas, Willard Jr. and Robert; two sisters, Margaret and Shirley; a daughter, Zelda Roberts; and his best friend, Buddy Perez.
Al leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of more than 55 years Frances Beale; two sons, Briggs and Eric Beale; grandchildren, Sadena, Amber, Perignon, James, Gene, Vidal, Erica, Lateefah, Bre, Tony, Javon, Nicole and Shamika; four sisters, Nannie, Marjorie, Virginia and Phyllis; and a host of great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; friends; and brother-in-law, James Blackmond, Jr.
Al also leaves to cherish his godchildren, Redena, Regina and Ju-ju; and best friend, Tommy. He will be greatly missed.
