RICHMOND—Alexander Keeton “Alec” Brazukas on Sunday, January 31, 2021, passed away peacefully at home at the age of 19. Alec was born in Richmond on January 18, 2002.
He was attending the University of Virginia and in his first year there. He was always incredibly smart and had a love for music, pondering unanswered questions of the universe and going on crazy adventures.
Alec lived unapologetically. He always strived to live life to the fullest and to show up for his friends and loved ones. He loved so many and was loved by so many more.
Alec is survived by his loving parents, Mark and Jennifer Edwards Brazukas; two sisters, Marleigh and Taylor; grandparents, David and Betty Taylor of Topping and Margaret Brazukas of South Carolina; along with many other loved ones he’s touched along the way. He is now in the comfort of the Lord. He will be missed dearly but will live in our hearts forever.
A celebration of his life will be conducted at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made in Alec’s name to a charity close to your heart.
