All hands on deck for the Reedville Classic Boat Show

REEDVILLE—Finding a spot to park on Main Street in Reedville was problematic on Saturday, September 9, as people flocked to the Reedville Fishermen’s Museum (RFM) for the annual Classic Boat Show.

The big turnout was only fitting since it marked the 18th show of the ever-popular event. Started in 2003 by Reedville resident Clif Ames, the classic boat show has grown in size and stature over the years.

This year’s turnout was great, said executive director Shauna Deihl McCranie. “In fact, I heard some say it was the best boat show yet.”

Ames, who was instrumental in getting the classic boats for the show, said there was a boatload of boats on display….
