Amanda S. “Mandy” Fletcher

HEATHSVILLE—Amanda Saunders “Mandy” Fletcher, 46, was suddenly called home to be with the Lord from her residence in Heathsville on January 19, 2022. She was born on June 24, 1975, in Reedville, and was a lifelong resident of the Northern Neck.

Mandy is survived by her husband, Mark Wayne Fletcher Sr.; her son, Mark Jr.; her mother, Marney Williams Saunders; her sister, Christy Headley; her brother, Michael Saunders; her step daughters, K. J. Fletcher and Jessica Fletcher; and her  aunts, Patricia S. Arnold and Sue W. Jett. Also surviving are three step-grandchildren, Taylor and Lexi Reaves, and Harper Covel; two brothers-in-law, Matthew and John; and three sisters-in law, Judy Scott, Laura and Sandy; and five nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, William D. Saunders Jr.

Mandy was a member of Tibitha Church of God, Reedville, where her funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Sunday, January 23. The family received friends an hour before the service. Burial was private.

Currie Funeral Home LLC of Kilmarnock handled the arrangements.
