Golden Village Christmas will be held from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. December 7 at Rice’s Hotel/Hughlett’s Tavern, 73 Monument Place, Heathsville.
Every year as part of Golden Village Christmas, children are invited to do their own special gift shopping for $2 a gift, said director Corinne Becker. The Tavern is now accepting appointments for this holiday tradition.
The event will include shopping, fresh greenery, bake sale, visits with Santa, caroling and holiday cheer.
Children’s shopping has expanded hours, 9 a.m.- 3 pm, and is open to ages 4 to 11. Tavern “elves” will help….
