The Lancaster Virginia Historical Society (LVHS) Zooming in Local History Virtual Speaker Series will feature “Historical Architecture: How to Read Virginia’s Old Houses,” by Dr. Carl Lounsbury, at 3 p.m. Thursday, March 17.
The lecture will introduce viewers to the fieldwork of analyzing and dating historical structures by examining changes in style, materials, technology and craftsmanship.
