The Lancaster Community Library (LCL) Sundays at Two winter lecture series will continue Sunday, March 13, with Cider Apples for the Northern Neck, by Cathy Calhoun of Ditchley Cider Works.
The lecture will begin at 2 p.m. at LCL, 16 Town Centre Drive, Kilmarnock.
Some of the earliest apple cultivars came to America via Colonial Jamestown and the Eastern Shore, and moved up to the Northern Neck with the expansion of settlements in Virginia.
Calhoun will talk about reintroducing cider apples to the region….
