March brings two new art exhibits, “Absolutely Anything” and “My Favorite Things,” to the RAL Art Center, 19 North Main Street, Kilmarnock. The exhibits include 101 original paintings, photography, glass and sculpture. These exhibitions will be on display until March 30.
President Doug Mock judged both exhibits and presented the awards and comments at a First Friday event March 1 at the RAL Art Center.
In Absolutely Anything, Mock awarded first place to “Collage,” a mixed media painting by Mike Stevens, because “the artist’s use of line, shape, color and texture make this a fabulous piece and very deserving, to me, of its first-place win!”
