CALLAO—Barbara Ann Schluderman, 81, of Callao passed away on Monday, October 3, 2022.
She was born in Manhattan, New York, on January 18, 1941, to Anton and Margaret Rosenblad.
Barbara was a retired analyst for the IRS and Department of Education. She was a graduate of University of Texas and spent time in Texas and New York.
Barbara was a very keen cook and had a huge collection of cookbooks which she used to create many wonderful meals and provided her culinary services to many local Tea Party and Coast Guard events.
She was also an excellent seamstress, creating and sewing her own wedding dress. In her spare time, she enjoyed collecting antiques.
Barbara is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, George Schluderman; her daughter, Auria Roman and her family; and many other family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, October 14, at Welch Funeral Home, Marks Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in loving memory of Barbara to the Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 3-10, 237 St. James Lane, Montross, VA 22520.
