Belle Isle State Park (BISP) will host the first in a series of Moon Parties at 7 p.m. March 25. The astronomy event is geared to all ages and will include telescopic views of the moon and planets Venus, Mars and Jupiter.
This event will focus on the solar system and feature an astronomy discussion by retired NASA engineer and scientist Brad Perry, said park manager Katie Shepard.
