Belle Isle State Park to host astronomy program February 3

Belle Isle State Park (BISP) on February 3 will host a presentation on star systems and galaxies. The speaker will be retired NASA engineer and astronomer Brad Perry.

Perry notes that he’ll be covering a big topic: “Current estimates place the number of stars in our Milky Way Galaxy at a few hundred billion. But our galaxy is only one of an estimated 200 billion to perhaps up to two trillion galaxies in the universe!” 

The program will be held rain or shine at 7 p.m. in the Visitor Center at….
