Bethany United Methodist Church, 454 Main Street, Reedville, is planning its 220th anniversary homecoming at 9:30 a.m. June 28.
The history of Bethany Church is colorfully woven into the history and lore of Reedville, Northumberland County and the Methodist Church of Virginia, said church historian Austin Schmidt.
The guest speaker will be District Superintendent Reverend Lindsey Baynham Freeman. The congregation welcomes everyone to join the celebration. Following the service there will be a potluck, church tours and fellowship.
