First District Rep. Rob Wittman, Second District Rep. Jen Kiggans, Fifth District Rep. John McGuire, Sixth District Rep. Ben Cline and Ninth District Rep. Morgan Griffith, all Republicans, on Thursday, June 4, in sent a letter to U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Secretary Brooke Rollins in support of Virginia’s request for the USDA Secretarial Disaster Designation following severe freeze events in April of 2026 that caused significant crop damage across the Commonwealth.
