Bethany United Methodist Church, 454 Main Street, Reedville will hold three upcoming fundraising events to support the church’s Youth Mission Team for a mission to take place in November.
The team plans to glean turnips for a food bank over two days and the monies raised will defray costs for an overnight stay and other travel expenses, reported publicity chairman Bonita Wilson.
A “potato bar” luncheon will be held after Sunday services on October 1 and November 5. Bethany UMC holds its Sunday services from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
The youth team also will serve a spaghetti dinner from 5:30 to 7 p.m. October 18. Carryouts will be available.
