Elementary school-aged children and younger in Northumberland County are invited to a Trunk or Treat Boo Bash from 5-7 p.m. October 24 at the open-air pavilion on the Rice’s Hotel/Hughlett’s Tavern campus, 73 Monument Place, Heathsville.
This county-sponsored event will include free Halloween candy, handed out from the trunks of vehicles, plus games, music, prizes, hot dogs and ghoulish surprises, reported Corinne Becker. Children should wear their Halloween costumes.
Parking is available at Courts Building, 220 Judicial Place, Heathsville. Walk over the small bridge to the pavilion.
The rain date is Tuesday, October 29.
