The Boys & Girls Club of the Northern Neck (BGCNN) recently had 11 team members attend the Southeast Regional Leadership Conference in Charlotte, N.C.
The four-day conference provided training in all areas of club leadership from board development to youth programming for more than 1500 clubs in the Southeast Region from Florida to D.C. This was the largest regional conference in Boys & Girls Club of America (BGCA) history with more than 850 attendees including executive directors, program leaders, administrative staff, board members and BGCA national representatives. Attendees were able to choose from a variety of educational breakout sessions.
“Attending these conferences is an investment in our staff and our Club member’s experience,” said BGCNN executive director Phillip Mumford. “I believe it’s important to provide this opportunity for our staff and board members.”
