Interim head of school Catherine L. Emery on Monday, August 19, welcomed Chesapeake Academy (CA) faculty and staff back to the Rowe Campus for a week of collaboration, professional development and training to prepare for the upcoming school year.
Emery moved from assistant head of school to the head of school for the 2024-25 school year while a national search by The Education Group looks for the school’s next head.
“This is an exciting time for CA. We have just completed a much lauded 10 year accreditation, we have a top-notch faculty excited about getting started and we are poised to focus on strategic planning for the school’s future,” Emery said. “Let’s do this!”
