Chesapeake Academy (CA) recently presented academic awards for the fourth marking period, second semester and 2025-26 school year.
All students earning academic awards have met the character expectations of the CA school community, said head of school Catherine L. Emery.
Twenty-four students earned the head of school list for the fourth marking period including:
• Fifth graders, Violet Edmonds, Berkley Grass, Rio Elam, August Goodrich, Alec Sterrett, June Nichols, Tillie Rowe and Neil Webre.
• Sixth graders, Violet Lacy and Daniella McLaughlin.
• Seventh graders, Orla Watts, Easton Minor, Addy Parsely, Benton Miller and Annabel Clair.
• Eighth graders, Callum Watts, Veronica Edmonds, Fin Burke, Emory Simmons, Louisa Goodrich, Merritt Kelley, Nolan Pittman, Sophia Kunkle and Kelsey Liner.
Twenty-eight students earned the head of school list for the second semester including:
• Fifth graders, Alec Sterrett, Violet Edmonds, Elam, A. Goodrich, Webre, Noah Campbell, Grass, Nichols, Gavin McLaughlin and Rowe.
• Sixth graders, Lacy, D. McLaughlin and Shannon Wilson.
• Seventh graders, O. Watts, Minor, Parsely, Clair, Miller and Lucas Rafael.
• Eighth graders, C. Watts, Veronica Edmonds, L. Goodrich, Burke, Pittman, Kunkle, Simmons, Kelley and Liner.
