Lancaster Players president Luke Rawls recently announced the cast for the upcoming production of “The Prisoner of Second Avenue.”
The Neil Simon comedy, directed by Rebecca Tebbs Nunn, will open March 6 at The Playhouse in White Stone.
John Pitman and Michelle Ayala are cast as Mel, a middle-aged man buckling under the pressures of modern life, and Edna, his steadfast, but beleaguered wife. Mel’s siblings, who rally to help him regain his footing, will be portrayed by Bill Casey, Phoebe Hollingsworth, Amanda Schimmoller and Caroline Sullivan. Featured performers include Mark Beran, Austin Burch and Aaron Stevens.
