
The Lancaster by the Bay Chamber of Commerce recently announced the recipients of its 2026 annual awards, recognizing outstanding individuals whose leadership, service and commitment continue to strengthen the Lancaster community.

This year’s honorees represent the very best of what makes the community exceptional, said executive director Leslie Jingluski. They will be recognized at the Chamber’s annual dinner tonight, February 26, at Indian Creek Yacht and Country Club.
The Dennis Burchill Lifetime Achievement Award will be presented to Carroll Lee Ashburn, in recognition of a lifetime of leadership, service and meaningful contributions that have helped shape and uplift the region for generations, said Jingluski.

Rich and Gale Ferraro will be presented the Volunteers of the Year award. Their tireless dedication and spirit of service have made a lasting impact across numerous community initiatives. Their leadership in volunteerism supports important causes and inspires others to step forward and serve, she said.
The Business Person of the Year award will be presented to Katie Krop, whose professional excellence, innovation and commitment to community engagement exemplify the strength and resilience of our local business community, said Jingluski.
