WARSAW—The Virginia Department of Wildlife Resources (DWR) Conservation Police partners with U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) to catch illegal waterfowl hunters.
On November 19, Virginia Conservation Police Sergeant Bumgarner and USFWS special agents were on patrol for waterfowl hunting activity in the Northern Neck. Just after legal shooting time, the officers heard a high volume of gunshots coming from a nearby swamp in Richmond County, reported DWR.
