Chesapeake Bank announces personnel changes

Pat Lewis recently retired after a 50-year tenure with Chesapeake Bank where she began her career as a teller in the Lively branch office. She has held positions in retail banking, internal audit, loan administration and lastly as director of human resources. 

She is a graduate of the Human Resource Management School, Graduate School of Banking program through the University of Wisconsin – Madison. She has senior Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification through the Human Resources Certification Institute as well as the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) senior certification of SHRM-SCP.

Other activities include serving as a member and past chairman of the Virginia Bankers Association Human Resources Committee and board member of the VBA Benefits Corporation. She was also involved with several groups organized through Rappahannock Community College and served as clerk of her church, Lebanon Baptist.
