Chesapeake Bank announces Warner retirement

On behalf of Chesapeake Financial Shares Inc., parent company of both Chesapeake Bank and Chesapeake Wealth Management, chairman of the board and chief executive officer Jeffrey M. Szyperski recently announced the retirement of Marshall N. Warner of Williamsburg.

Warner came to Chesapeake in 1992, subsequent to working in executive positions in financial institutions in New Jersey.

Warner was an executive vice president of Chesapeake Bank and regional executive for its Williamsburg region for the majority of his career with the company. The company prospered under his expertise, and American Banker has named Chesapeake Bank one of the “Top 200 Community Banks” based on earnings in the U.S. for 13 consecutive years.
