OPHELIA—Christopher Paul Gaskins, 43, a waterman of Ophelia passed away Thursday, May 2, 2024.
Paul is survived by his daughter, Stella B. Gaskins of Lexington, N.C.; his parents, George Edward “Eddie” Sr. and Diane B. Gaskins; his brother, George Edward “Ed” Gaskins Jr.; several uncles and aunts; and many cousins.
Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, May 17, at Currie Funeral Home in Kilmarnock. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Roseland Cemetery in Reedville.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Fairfields Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 656, Burgess, VA 22432, or the Northumberland Rescue Squad, 400 Hacks Neck Road, Burgess, VA 22432.
