Trinity Episcopal and St. Mary’s Whitechapel churches recently teamed up with the Lancaster County Department of Social Services (LCDSS) to make Christmas extra special for seniors in the community.
Thanks to their generous donations and the hard work of volunteers, gifts were delivered to LCDSS for seniors, reported director Dr. Claudette Henderson. From warm throws, clothing, entertainment to personal care items, this partnership brings hope and happiness to those who need it most.
“This is what the season is all about—coming together to lift each other up,” said Dr. Henderson.
