WAKE—Clyde Raymond “Ray” Dail, 67 of Wake, formerly from Hopewell, passed away on August 9, 2022, at his home.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde Herman Dail and Audrey Mathis Dail; and a sister, Helen Anderson Thornton.
He is survived by his sister, Donna Dail Foster; son, Thomas Harrison Dail (mother Rhonda Dail); several nephews and nieces; and a host of great friends.
Ray was an avid fan of University of Virginia……UVA…GoHoos. He was also a strong fan of the Washington Redskins.
Ray will be remembered by all for his history and knowledge of the weather.
A celebration of Ray’s life will be held at a later date.
