The Holly Ball committee recently released the names of 14 young ladies who will be presented at the 124th Holly Ball. The event will be held at 7 p.m. December 28 at Indian Creek Yacht and Country Club, 362 Club Drive, Kilmarnock.
The ball dates from 1895 and has been held annually, with the exception of the year 1902 and during World War 1 and World War 11.
“It has evolved through the years and is indeed the premier Northern Neck social event of the Christmas season,” said committee member and publicity chairman Patricia Gallagher.
The formal gala provides funding to support the Tidewater Foundation and the grants it provides for organizations and entities in and around the Northern Neck.
