Concert, parade, market set in Irvington

The U.S. Air Force (USAF) Heritage of America Concert Band will perform rousing marches, patriotic favorites, Broadway hits and orchestral classics at 7 p.m. July 2 at the Irvington Commons, 98 King Carter Drive, Irvington.

The public is urged to bring chairs and picnics to the performance, presented by the Irvington Village Improvement Association (VIA). Concert sponsor Chesapeake Bank will offer free hot dogs, chips and desserts from 5:30 to 6:45 p.m.

“We are honored to welcome back this great group of talented musicians who both entertain and inspire us,” said the VIA’s Jill Worth.
