REEDVILLE—Danny J. Strader, 71, of Reedville went to be with the Lord December 7, 2017.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Stella M. Strader; son, Jeff and his wife, Denise; grandsons, Michael and his wife, Jessica, and Derek and his fiancee, Sammi; great-grandchildren, Bryce, Wyatt and Clyde; brother, Thomas Strader; sister, Brenda Conrad; niece, Audrey Weidman; great-niece, Melinda; and great-nephew, Charles.
Danny loved family togetherness. He loved boating and fishing. Danny played, sang and taught music to his family, especially Michael, Derek and Charles. He retired from Mack Trucks after 36 years of service. He was proud of the fact that there are four generations of Strader men. He was loved for his wonderful sense of humor and will be greatly missed. The family will receive friends from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday, December 16, at his residence, 44 Lucom Point Drive, Reedville, VA 22539.
