The Lancaster Virginia Historical Society (LVHS) recently announced tickets are still available for its June 4 fundraiser event, “Relax at the River at Historic Pop Castle.”
The reservation deadline has been extended to noon Friday, May 27. Tickets are $100 per person and must be purchased by the deadline at www.LancasterVaHistory.org or by calling 462-7280.
According to executive director Karen Hart, LVHS will welcome guests to the Pop Castle property from 3-7 p.m. for tours of the historic house and grounds, a gourmet picnic and wine on the lawn, raffles and a silent auction. COVID-19 precautions include social distancing, reduced touching of shared items, and suggested masking indoors.
