Decision tabled regarding use of former Callis Seafood tract

LANCASTER—A decision on Northern Neck Marine Construction’s (NNMC) request for a special exception will have to wait until the July meeting of the Lancaster board of supervisors.

Following a related public hearing Thursday, District 1 supervisor Jack Larson requested a decision on the application be held over until the next meeting since neither of the principals in the matter—current property owner Virginia Commonwealth Bank (VCB) and potential buyer NNMC owner Frankie Davis—were at the meeting to iron out details.
