On Wednesday, January 9, the 2019 General Assembly session convened and I will continue to serve on commerce and labor, privileges and elections vice chair as well as chair of the elections sub-committee, and agriculture, Chesapeake and natural resources. This year I was also appointed to serve on the courts of justice committee.
We will work on very important issues this session which include the middle class tax relief and also working on health insurance reform. Another great resource is www.virginiageneralassembly.gov for up-to-date information on legislation and to follow committee meetings.
It was great to see folks from my district this week. My office was visited by the Northern Neck Soil and Water Conservation District, our community bankers, Republican women and I was able to join our local folks at the Agribusiness dinner.
