On Saturday, July 23, West went 3-for-3 with two doubles and a three-run homer for seven RBIs in a Deltas win over the Richmond Avalanche, 16-4. He leads the Richmond National Adult Baseball Association League in several statistical categories with 22 hits and 22 RBIs, and is tied for the most doubles with six and home runs with two. The Deltaville Deltas avenged an early season loss to the Mechanicsville Hawks and rolled past the Richmond Avalanche in a pair of home games last weekend. Deltaville overcame a six-run deficit to defeat Mechanicsville, 15-6, last Friday, and defeated the Avalanche, 16-4, on Saturday.
With the wins, Deltaville moves to 9-2 overall and 7-1 in the Richmond National Adult Baseball Association League. They remain in a three-way tie for first with Team Woody and the Richmond Smokies…[to-view-more]
