Deputy Santa Program seeks support

With Christmas just a few weeks away, monetary donations are being accepted for the Deputy Santa Program at the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office.

The program helps to make the holiday a little happier for children in the community, according to Sheriff Patrick McCranie.

“We are asking the community if they would like to help by contributing monetary donations,” said Amanda Haynie, Lancaster Sheriff’s Office communications supervisor and Deputy Santa director. “Your monetary donations would assist with the purchase of books, toys clothes and bikes.”
