Destiny Farrell, 18, has excelled in the classroom and on the pageant stage.
A 2023 graduate of Lancaster High School, Farrell has qualified for the National American Miss pageant in Orlando, Fla., in November after finishing as a first runner-up in multiple categories in the Virginia pageant.
According to pageant releases, state National American Miss pageants are held annually with winners vying for the National Title of National American Miss.
Although Farrell didn’t win the overall state title, she did finish as first runner-up in the heart of service and academy achievement categories, which qualifies her for the national pageant, should she choose to go.
By then, Farrell will be halfway through her first semester of freshman year at the University of Mary Washington….
