Lancaster came back from two sets down to tie the match and force Northumberland to win in a fifth set tie-breaker Thursday, October 10, in Claraville during the Indians’ Dig Pink volleyball night.

Northumberland took the 3-2 match-win with sets of 25-18, 25-12, 16-25, 21-25 and 15-13.

Lancaster, now 8-7 overall, came back from five points down in the opening set to tie at 16-16 but got stuck there as Northumberland reeled off a 9-2 run. The host Indians dominated in the second set for a 13-point win but gave up two sets before winning the match with a two-point victory in the fifth set of the best of five series.
