Lancaster picked up its first Northern Neck District win and put together a 2-1 run over the last week in varsity soccer.
The Red Devils did all of the scoring in the second half Wednesday, April 23, in a 3-0 win over Westmoreland to improve to 1-2 in district play. Ty Makulowich scored on a free kick 10 minutes into the second half to break the scoreless contest. Darius Toulson headed in a corner kick to score Lancaster’s second goal and Porter Pittman had an unassisted goal with six minutes left.
LHS goalkeeper Antonio Tomlin had 15 saves.
