
REEDVILLE—Dr. Frank “D9” DiGiovanni of Reedville has announced his candidacy for the District 5 seat on the Northumberland school board. The seat will be filled in a special election on November 3.
DiGiovanni said his first priority will be fiscal stewardship, emphasizing responsible use of tax dollars, transparent budgets and accountability.
His second priority is workforce skills that prepare students for their futures through the trades, higher education, military service, or employment.
His third priority is quality education, with a focus on student achievement, support for teachers and an innovative learning environment.
DiGiovanni brings 41 years of federal service, including 26 years in the U.S. Air Force, retiring as a colonel, followed by more than 13 years in the federal Senior Executive Service. His assignments included….
