Distinctive Bazaar continues November 4

The 26th annual Distinctive Bazaar continues from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, November 4, at Irvington United Methodist Church, 26 King Carter Drive, Irvington. 

Shoppers will be able to get an early start on shopping for the holiday, said event organizer Audrey Lowery. The ladies will be busy baking next week. Their pies, cakes, cookies, fudge and other sweets are always a hit. Everyone knows to come early to get the baked items. The bakery booth features homemade vegetable soup to take out. It is also filled with pickles fresh from the summer garden and homemade jelly. “Our bazaar is an extraordinary event,” said Lowery. “It has been said by more than one shopper that walked into our fellowship hall that it is like walking into a gift shop. We strive to create a bazaar that rivals the rest….
