After a two-week holiday break, Lancaster High School wrestlers competed in the Mathews Invitational last Saturday, where the Red Devils produced a gold medalist.
DJ Zeiler, wrestling at 138, went 3-0 to win his third straight championship at the annual Mathews Invitational.
“DJ defended his title by defeating last year’s 132 weight class champion from Poquoson,” said LHS coach Craig Oren. “He wrestled impressively, pinning in his first match and defeating two tough adversaries by points.”
