RICHMOND—Dominion Energy Virginia on Friday filed an update on the status of needed approvals with the State Corporation Commission for construction of an underwater crossing of the Rappahannock River for a transmission line.
According to McGuire Woods attorney Vishwa Link, Dominion Power expected to file for underwater cable approvals from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Virginia Marine Resources Commission, and Middlesex and Lancaster counties wetlands boards in April.
A construction general permit from the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality and a land use permit from the Virginia Department of Transportation will be filed in July…
