KILMARNOCK—Donald Ray Lucas, nicknamed “Luke” or “Razor,” 62, formerly of Topping, died January 19 in Kilmarnock.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Reuben and Elsie Lucas; and brother, John E. Lucas.
He is survived by his siblings, R. Larry Lucas (Jennifer), Joan L. Fries (Paul), Ann L. O’Herron and James L. Lucas (Mary); sister-in-law, Ruth Lucas; and many nephews and nieces.
Don never met a stranger and considered everyone he met as a friend. He worked in the snack food and grocery businesses most of his life. A big sports fan, he loved the Minnesota Vikings and Twins.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, January 27, at Harmony Grove Baptist Church, 7722 General Puller Highway, Topping.
