NEW YORK, NY—Doris Ada Carter of New York City died April 8, 2020, at Mosholu Parkway Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, The Bronx, N.Y.
She was born to the late Lindsey and Rebecca Lee Carter on March 10, 1944, in Lancaster. She moved to New York City shortly after graduating from high school.
She was predeceased by her parents; and brothers, Leon, McKinley, Roosevelt, Avon, James and Edward.
She is survived by family and friends who loved her dearly. She will be sadly missed.
