REEDVILLE—Doris Mae Shaw, 94, of Reedville passed away on Sunday, February 18, 2024. She was born February 13, 1930, in Pennsylvania to Carl and Olga Thralls.
Doris retired from the U.S. Postal service and was an active member of Bethany United Methodist Church in Reedville.
Along with her parents, she was predeceased by two husbands, Luther Howard and Richard Shaw; and a daughter, Melody Plaugher.
She is survived by her daughter, Deb Berumen-Young (Miguel) of Reedville; grandson, Sean Dawson of Stephens City; and granddaughter, Ashley Hamman (Aaron) of Manassas; two great-granddaughters, Lorali Hamman of Manassas and Victoria Shaw of Marshall; and a great-grandson, George Moseley of Rixeyville.
The family will have a memorial service at a later date.
Currie Funeral Home LLC of Kilmarnock handled the arrangements.
