Dream Fields complex continues to evolve

Although the playing fields at Dream Fields near Kilmarnock were quiet for much of the year, construction crews and volunteers were busy reconfiguring the complex at 1385 Irvington Road.

A multi-year project is nearing completion at the park, according to project manager Travis Pittman. Dream Fields is home to Lancaster County Little League and the Lancaster public school middle and high school baseball and softball teams. The park serves about 200 Little League players each year with about 5,000 other players utilizing the park annually including high school, college, travel ball and American Legion teams.

Over the last two years, two fields were removed, a new one constructed and the parking relocated.
